Been on a bagel hunt since I moved here, this is by far the best I’ve had in the city. Excellent texture and sandwich options (smoked ends is my favorite). If you can’t handle waiting in a line order ahead as suggested, it’s busy because it’s the best.
We had a Lox Bagel and it was great and the size was huge for a bagel. The price was fine and one half of it would’ve been enough for me personally. It was really yummy and I can for sure recommend! We didn’t have to wait long til our food was done.

We have been on the look out for good bagels in SF for a while now and this place hits the spot. We went on a rainy Saturday afternoon just before closing time and got lucky that there was very short wait. We got the egg and cheese sandwich with everything bagel. It was quite cheesy and heavy. Two of us were full with just 1 bagel sandwich. Will definitely try again.
Easy to order online and pickup. Their classic bagel is delicious. The plain bagel untoasted has good chew and flavor.
It was my first time visiting SF from Canada and I heard great reviews of this place. I love how fast I got the order made. It was busy, but definitely worth the wait. I also had their iced chai tea, and it was amazing!!! 10/10 taste! Definitely coming back!
I was going to give 4 stars because it was a long wait on the sidewalk, and during that wait a guy was picking up a bagel, asked to have it sliced, and they told him that would be a 50 cent charge. They finally relented and sliced his bagel, but it seemed like a pretty cheesy move for a company getting good money for their bagels. My breakfast sandwich was extremely good though, as was the coffee. Since google only allows a 5-point rating and I didn't want to dock them 20% I gave them a 5. Lose the slicing fee though Schlok's; it makes you look like cheapskates... Edit to respond to the owners reply: Yes, the optics aren't amazing. Do the math; the negative hit you take every time you charge someone to slice a bagel far, far outweighs the cost of the time and labor it takes to do the slicing. There were two other people on that sidewalk when this guy (who had ordered and paid online and didn't have 50 cents with him) had that lengthy discussion with the poor embarrassed employee who was holding out for the fee. None of us could believe it. Seriously, invest in a bagel-slicing robot or something (there's gotta be such a thing) because google reviews are gold (your reviews are why I chose your store over the myriad others in SF). Risking a bad review from someone upset about being charged half a buck to slice a bagel is the epitome of "penny wise, pound foolish"...
I ordered online . It was quick and easy to do . Arrived just as I Rcvd text it was ready . I was worried about a line because so many people were waiting but I got my food immediately! Great service, friendly, fast , efficient offered everything I may need (and did) like napkins and a spread knife . But the food , well it was THE BEST BAGEL and spread I have EVER tried . I believe I will visit them every single day I am here on my weekend getaway. I had the everything bagels and habanero spread . I picked up a ripe Avocado on the walk home , toasted my bagel and it was heavenly . An egg on top would have sent me over the edge with flavor , but o was trying not to wake those still sleeping lol!
Ordered pick up from here. Very busy sidewalk window to order and grab food. The bagel sandwich I ordered with egg, cheese, and extra cream cheese was very tasty. The jalapeño cream cheese was nice and spicy.
I love my neighborhood bagel shop! Delicious food, kind employees and always fast service. I always get the egg and cheese on an everything bagel and add the delicious smoked ham. It's the best in the business, beyond flavorful! I also buy their everything spice and keep that in my pantry. I'm so lucky to have them in the neighborhood (NOPA) but happy that they now have a vibrant second location in FiDi and I'm thrilled to now support them directly with their easy to navigate app!
